Ceramic Ghost Lantern Class (9/28)

Service Description

Led by Sydney Celli of Shillcreations Brighten the night with these adorable spooky ceramic ghost lanterns! Each student will get about 1 lb of clay to work with. Sydney will demonstrate step-by-step by using a slab-rolling, handbuilding technique. We will delicately shape our ghosts after creating our slab of clay and then cut out our scary ghost faces. After class, Sydney will bring everything back to her studio. Once the pieces are bisque fired, she will glaze fire them in a clear glaze that will really bring the ghosts to life! The firing process will take about 4-6 weeks for the best results. Everyone's pieces will be dropped off and packaged up at Tomandchickpea in Derry, NH.
