Beautiful Growth and Change

I haven’t posted in awhile, but rest assured there have been many exciting changes occurring with my shop! Signing the lease a year ago and transitioning from my garage to a full on brick and mortar was scary to say the least. I really can’t believe it has already been a year since that move. Several months in to the lease I began working with Sue Carner of My Father’s Footsteps- she set up several cases of her unique hand made jewelry- a perfect addition to the eclectic mix of furniture, plants and decor I offer.

Over the course of the year, the space right next door just kept whispering my name - a whisper that became louder and louder as time went on. The options of what it could offer to the business were so glaring in my face- a place to store my unfinished inventory, a way to expand my paint displays for the two lines of paint I sell- Wise Owl Paint and Daydream Apothecary. And lastly, a larger area to offer classes! So, as luck would have it, a fellow local painter, Merry with Refurbished Designs approached me about sharing the space together. Six months in to the year and I was just voted best small shop of 2022 in New Hampshire Magazine ! Classes will begin in the fall and in the meantime me, Sue and Merry are brainstorming all the ways we can offer inspiring artwork, relaxed ambiance and a very community oriented space to Derry and surrounding towns. The loving reception we have received by our customers has brought us this far, with so much more to come !
