Celebrate Everything

Recently I am witness to So many beautiful new beginnings, and with the onset of Spring it seemed fitting to talk about them :)

When I thought about writing this, I only had a handful of examples in mind, but as I was thinking about the people in my life, the list just kept growing !

When I say people in my life, it ranges from close family members, to long term friends to people I’ve only known a short while yet we have bonded quickly. The life changes and new starts include new jobs, new homes, healing from injuries and surgeries, providing a warm and secure home for someone who hasn’t known safety in far too long, starting a business, to excelling in high school and moving on to college-

I am just so impressed with the love, courage and ambition of all these wonderful people. Despite fear, adversity and chaos they are moving forward in real and amazing ways.

I am here to happily watch their successes, listen to their struggles along the way if needed, and lend a helping hand where I am able. And in a few instances, the acquisition of a piece of my furniture or special item from the shop is a meaningful part of their journey- and that fills me with so much love and hope.

Having said all of this, I personally have a hard time being in the moment and celebrating the small successes, not just the big ones. Appreciating things which may seem minor, such as a warm breeze on my face, the excited greetings from my dogs when I get home, to a yummy meal cooked by one of my kids, I am really trying to appreciate it as it is happening. Basically, just slow down -

So really this message and reminder is for me more than anyone - but I just wanted to tell all the people rising up, showing their strength while growing and changing, I am So very proud of you and you inspire me more than you’ll ever know. Xo
