Almost four months in and the shop is growing and gaining lots of attention! I am excited to announce TomandChickpea now features the handmade jewelry created by My Fathers’ Footsteps. Sue Carner is the owner and she will be displaying her gorgeous creations towards the back of the store as well as working several days a week. Please come wish her a big welcome and check out her work! On a selfish note, she is allowing me to be the soccer Mom I never knew I could be by covering some of my hours while I attend both of my children’s soccer games - and there’s a lot of them! Custom orders have been increasing for me as well - so needless to say- when I am not cheering from the sidelines or greeting the lovely flow of customers at the shop, I am painting away! Oh, and did I mention, we have scheduled the Grand Opening for Friday November 5th??? The ribbon cutting ceremony will be at about 11 am with appetizers and a meet and greet as well. Please come join us or visit the ensuing weekend to say hello and browse the shop - beautiful items added every day- including a lovely assortment of house plants!
